Jenny Sevier
Mrs. Sevier has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She attended a graduate-level special education teacher preparation program at California State University, Fullerton and holds 2 special education teacher certifications. She is a veteran teacher with nearly 15 years of experience in special education classrooms with students of all ages. She has taught for Huntington Beach City Schools, Gilbert Public Schools, and Autism Academy’s Tempe Campus. Mrs. Sevier joined Autism Academy as the Tempe Campus’s first middle school teacher. She also held the role of Academic Advisor at the Tempe campus. In 2019, Mrs. Sevier transferred to our Chandler campus as the assistant director. She was the director of that campus when it moved to its current Gilbert location. In 2022, Mrs. Sevier joined our district office team as District Director. In this role she is the director of AAED’s Online Program, adapts specials curriculum for our students’ needs, and provides support to all 5 of our in-person campuses. Parents will see her ParentSquare postings and informational emails throughout the school year! Mrs. Sevier is committed to supporting the success of all students, their families, and AAED’s staff. She believes that, with the right supports in place, all students can meet their full potential and highest possible level of independence.
